Project ManagerJob Category: Project and Program ManagementTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalCACI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist in definition and implementation of financial system business systems for IT staff supporting the Federal Protective Service (FPS) at Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Successful candidates will direct a matrixed technical team including subject matter experts (SMEs), technical personnel, and other appropriate expertise as needed to develop, design, document, implement and manage large-scale projects to perform outside the scope of O&M activities. *About the Role:* * Responsible for the management, scheduling, and coordination of special projects activities, daily operations & maintenance activities, and staff assignments * Oversee and manage technical IT projects involved in planning and implementation of a major financial system, sourcing data from multiple application streams into a consolidated application. * Provides leadership to a cross-functional team, managing team resource assignments, projected task completion dates, prioritizing activities based on customer requirements and SLAs * Works cooperatively with engineers and administrators to plan and direct tasks based on priority and manpower availability * Oversees individual IT projects from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end-user testing, deployment, and production support * Communicates effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences * Establish and maintain strong relationship with government customer * Exercises broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects * Track and manage task order initiatives, deliverables, customer relations, and task order management reviews. * Ensures compliance with the DHS SELC process through all phases of the life cycle (planning, requirements definition, design, development, integration, test, disposition, implementation, operations & maintenance) as well as deliver the appropriate SELC artifacts as required. *Required Qualifications:* * Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance * Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) * Active PMP certification * BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of related work experience * Previous supervisory experience * Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence *Preferred Qualifications:* * ITILv3 or v4 Foundation s certification * Previous IT Operations & Project experience * Previous DHS or Federal Government experience *What We Can Offer You:* * We ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post. * Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives. * We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities. * We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation s highest priorities. * For over 55 years, the principles of CACI s unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success. *DHSHP* Company Overview: At CACI, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by providing information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers.
