We are currently seeking a Configuration Team Developer to join our team in Herndon - Fully Remote, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US). Position Overview: NTT DATA is looking for a Configuration Team Developer to support a criticalclient's program. This program will support the establishment of a central information hub to support the operations and management oversight of the client's Next Generation Global Health Supply Chain Suite of Programs (NextGen). The client's global health efforts are focused to prevent child and maternal deaths, control the HIV/AIDS epidemic, control and eliminate malaria, increase and sustain access to safe, voluntary, high-quality family planning and reproductive health care, and combat infectious diseases. The client is developing a supply chain capability based on Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solutions. The COTS products will be integrated to share data, and the resulting core capability with the have numerous interfaces to existing client and partner systems. We seek developers who are adept at building efficient and reliable Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) rapidly and effectively. APIs will be initially built in conjunction with the COTS product developers, then over time shift fully to our staff. We will be working as agile teams with multiple releases monthly across the teams. Using this approach, short iterative sprints will be used to deliver APIs in a rapid and incremental approach. The client requires that its APIs are reliable, usable, secure, and efficient over their lifecycle. This quality standard requires continuous sustainment of existing APIs. As part of the DevSecOps operating model, software, infrastructure, and security engineers must work together to define, implement, and automate Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes. Position's General Duties and Tasks: In the role of Configuration Developer, you will provide expertise in multiple software development languages such as SQL, ASP, .NET, MVC, C#, and Visual Basic. You will participate in an Agile based development environment where you will apply Agile principles for software development, configuration, and integration. You will participate in all phases of the SDLC and configure RapidResponse or Coupa Procurement COTS solutions to meet defined requirements. Required Qualifications: 8+ years' experience in software development and integration in various operating environments with the ability to support multiple software languages and infrastructure(s) including: Experience with data access layers, SQL and relational database systems Experience with developer productivity tools such as Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, unit testing framework Experience working with IIS hosting .NET applications 4+ years of combined experience with .NET, MVC framework, ASP, C#, and Visual Basic Undergraduate degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience US Citizen Desired Qualifications: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to understand/articulate the root cause of software problems Strong experience in implementing Change and Configuration management throughout the full SDLC process Firm sense of accountability, ownership for end-to-end project lifecycle with solid project execution and communication skills Microsoft MCTS .NET Framework certification Web Services development experience Advanced knowledge, skills and abilities required to resolve more complex IT issues. Experience in the preparation of audit reports that identify technical and procedural findings and provide recommended remediation strategies/solutions. Excellent communications and relationship skills. Candidates for this position will be required to adhere to NTT DATA's and its clients' COVID-19 health and safety protocols. For Colorado Candidates In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $95,400 - $174,900. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
