Job Summary
Westat is seeking a Virtual Event and Communications Coordinator who will join our dynamic team to support and promote interactive practice for a large-scale, high-profile education project. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge with multimedia technology and communication strategy.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Design and deliver technical support for training and communications efforts such as Zoom, Teams, WebEx and other web conferencing services, including video and audio editing.
•    Create and manage content, carry out community relations, communications and marketing strategy, and analytics.
•    Manage and promote participation in a wide variety of communications and social media activities, including but not limited to email marketing, webinar management, twitter, and other social media channels.
•    Track and analyze user and attendance data to inform planning and evaluation.
•    Use multimedia technology and authoring tools to assist in the design, development, and implementation of trainings, courses, webinars, face-to-face (F2F) meetings, graphic or video products.
•    Manage website content- familiarity with Drupal a plus but not necessary.
•    Coordinate interactions with project teams, customers, vendors, graphic designers, videographers, and web developers.
•    Plan and deliver conference supports using conference apps and on-line tools.

Basic Qualifications:
•    A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, media studies, graphic design or related fields and experience hosting virtual platforms.
•    Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, YouTube and other video display and editing platforms.
•    Expertise with Zoom, Teams, WebEx and/or other web conferencing services including video and audio editing.
•    2-5 years of experience.

•    Organization skills, including time management ability
•    Detail oriented
