Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Business Development Manager for our LifeWorks Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Business Development Manager you will:
• Be responsible for developing and implementing strategically driven initiatives that will result in increased patient referrals and higher patient volume through increased awareness of the capabilities and resources available at Washington Adventist Hospital.
• Develop and maintain key referral relationships, conduct consistent and meaningful sales calls, coordinate and participate in community events, target and orient new physicians, all consistent with the hospital's strategic plan.
• Be responsible for building and maintaining strong internal relationships that foster effective communication between hospital staff and hospital referral sources and will identify and help address operational issues with the overriding goal of making it easy for physicians to practice at the hospital.
• Additionally, this position is responsible for the execution of business development and marketing plans and will collaborate in the development of marketing materials and other tools to support physician-based sales.
• Develop Annual Business Development Plan for key departments in the hospital.
• Identify, build and manage long-term relationships with both internal and community physicians in an effort to increase referrals.
• Identify and evaluate specific business opportunities. Work with senior leaders to identify and evaluate new markets for existing products/services, and new product services through development and marketing partnership opportunities.
• Develop and monitor cost controls to utilize time and materials in an effective and efficient manner.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Healthcare Administration or other Business/Clinical discipline Required
• 7-10 years experience in Consultative Marketing/Sales or Business Development Required
• Experience in physician-based Marketing/Sales preferred
• Must have a proven track record of delivering on sales goals
• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle for transportation is required

Work Schedule:

Full Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday
