Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Vice President of Reimbursement and Strategic Analytics who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Vice President of Reimbursement and Strategic Analytics you will:
•Provide strategic and operational oversight to the Reimbursement and Strategic Analytics departments of Adventist HealthCare and Howard University Hospital
•Provide guidance to senior leaders and entity leadership on strategic reimbursement opportunities and develop strategies for ensuring optimal reimbursement for all AHC entities.
•Continuously develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory and government agencies such as HSCRC, MHCC and DHMH. Serve as the key contact point for AHC with agencies on reimbursement related issues.
•Provide guidance and oversight in the development of analytical modeling for evaluating and driving operational and financial performance improvement across the system.
•Ensure compliance to HSCRC, CMS and other regulatory revenue requirements
•Develop and maintain capabilities around service line profitability reporting, operational reporting and scenario analytics.
•Oversee the development of financial and operational models created for senior leaders to evaluate key business decisions including but not limited to growth, resizing, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, service line development, etc.
•Provide oversight and leadership support to Director in working with leaders throughout the organization to ensure assumptions and modeling accurately reflect the business decision being contemplated.
•Lead and mentor staff, managers and directors in Reimbursement and Strategic Analytics.
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management, or equivalent is required
•CPA, MBA or other advanced Master's degree in Healthcare or Public Health preferred
•10 years' healthcare financial management experience preferred with experience in a financial leadership role in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
•5 years of management experience overseeing multiple functional areas.
•Working knowledge of GAAP rules and procedures
•Strong experience with the financial/reimbursement environment in Maryland
