POSITION SUMMARY:Candidates should have healthcare experience and exec level leadership background.The VP, Supply Chain Management is responsible for the executive oversight, leadership and all operational aspects of Supply Chain Management for LifeBridge Health. The VP reports to the EVP/CFO of LifeBridge Health. Responsible for multi-million dollar annual budget, approximately 125 FTEs and two AVP-level direct reports. The scope of oversight includes all LifeBridge Health facilities, including five hospitals, as well as wholly owned subsidiaries.Essential Functions:Strategic Planning: Leads the strategic planning process for the Supply Chain Management division and participates in organizational planning initiatives.Fiscal Management: Monitors financial reports on a regular basis to ensure that budgets are met and encourages creativity to keep financial outcomes within the established budget. Develops financial projections, oversees preparation and effectively monitors and approves budgets of reporting departments to assure optimal financial performance.Leadership: Fosters effective interdepartmental coordination between assigned departments and departments assigned to other members of the executive leadership team. Directs performance, and holds direct reports accountable for creating a safe environment for all and for delivering high quality services. Responsible for hiring, orienting, coaching, counseling, and evaluating direct reports.Operations: Ensures the effective operations of the Supply Chain Management division. Ensures the Executive Value Analysis Committee functions at maximum effectiveness. Facilitates effective communication with internal customers. Monitors, through direct reports, staffing, recruitment and retention, budget performance, quality outcomes, and service efficiency and effectiveness.Performance Improvement: Develops and oversees operational performance improvement. Facilitates continuous performance improvement by encouraging innovation, supporting reasonable risk taking, being open to new ideas and keeping up to date in the function. Provides oversight for the planning, negotiations, and implementation of new projects.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline7+ years of relevant supply chain management experienceLocation: LifeBridge Health .
