CGI Federal has an opportunity for a Chief Infrastructure Engineer supporting a large cyber security program. You will set technical direction and work with stakeholders throughout a federal agency from the senior executive level to operational Analysts and researchers to evolve, automate and enhance cyber security infrastructure. This is an opportunity to contribute to an important project from its beginning and work with the latest and emerging technologies. Your future duties and responsibilities Apply technical expertise and oversight of current and evolving industry best practices, standards and recommendations in cybersecurity as well as the broader IT industry in support of complex and disparate IT systems Plan and develop on-premises and hybrid cloud migrations, designing and configuring cloud architecture and work toward cloud integration efforts and implementing plans for hosting complex application workloads Design and develop cybersecurity programs and/or scripts, ensuring that design and development activities are properly documented and updated as necessary Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost and risk, as well as supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems Perform analysis at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, test, deployment, operation and maintenance Act as technical liaison between operations teams, Engineers and Architects, providing critical operational insight to upcoming implementations and strategies Validate ongoing solutions supportability Advise on a variety of technical issues and platforms Recommend and implement technical visions and develop metrics to measure levels of success Align, support and provide subject matter expertise oversight into roles and responsibilities for complex, highly integrated work streams across multiple teams Identify process dependencies, address bottlenecks and recommend new approaches to deliver services that align with industry standards and security best practices Analyze hardware and software delivery processes to determine gaps and identify solutions to close them to yield consistent, high-quality results Creatively develop new ideas, concepts and solutions to improve the delivery of systems and platform integration services to Federal Government customers Communicate and engage across multiple constituencies in a way that influences service outcomes and steers toward change objectives Manage and integrate the services of subcontractors and vendors Required qualifications to be successful in this role Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. A minimum of (20) twenty years of relevant experience Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems or relevant discipline Expert knowledge in the following technical areas: cyber security, Agile/DevSecOps software development methodology, network operations, or network architecture Active Top Secret clearance required Desired qualifications: Knowledge of or prior experience with the DHS environment Multiple industry certifications relevant to job duties AWS Certification(s) SAFe Agile ITIL v4 As a Federal Contractor, all members of CGI Federal, regardless of role or work location are required to be fully vaccinated, with the exception of those with approved medical or religious accommodations. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
