The Corporate Systems and Solutions (CSS) team is seeking a highly motivated, goal driven individual to manage the operational aspects of Corporate Systems across multiple SaaS platforms and in Azure. The Senior Manager will have responsibility for the teams that support CSS Azure DevOps, Workday Security and Tenant Management, and Actuary and Reserving Systems. Operational support for other 3rd party products will be required as well. The selected candidate will manage Cloud 2.0 initiatives required to migrate remaining legacy applications to Azure, including a large-scale project to modernize Actuary and Reserving Systems. The primary responsibilities for the Senior Manager are: Coach and develop associates Establish goals and evaluate performance Manage budget, business initiatives, and software contracts Lead initiative to build out a Modern Actuarial and Reserving System Manage operational aspects of Workday Security and Workday Tenants Manage operational aspects of Corporate Systems hosted in Azure Manage operational aspects of legacy Actuary and Reserving Systems Manage operational aspects of Peoplesoft Systems, including development of strategy and plan to retire Ensure IAD, SOX, PCI, and general security practices and policies are adhered to Ensure teams are aligned with Agile concepts and Azure Fundamentals. Desired candidates will have proven experience in the following areas: A bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is required, as is 3+ years of experience leading high performing Software Engineering teams and functions and 3+ years of hands on engineering experience. 24x7 on-call production support is a requirement of this position. Ability to lead significant change successfully Ability to coach and mentor associates to increasing levels of performance and efficiency Ability to manage multiple demands with a sense of urgency Ability to analyze data, provide business intelligence, and recommend next appropriate actions Ability to effectively negotiate contracts with vendors Knowledge of infrastructure associated with enterprise-class systems and services Experienced in cloud computing technologies and concepts, preferably Azure Experienced in database technologies, data warehouses, and ETL tooling Understanding of budgeting, including tracking variances and managing budget within a narrow margin of error. The candidate must have successfully delivered large scale, enterprise level solutions with a focus on cloud migrations and/or SaaS adoption, adhering to major milestones schedule and ensuring quality implementations. Excellent written and oral communication skills are crucial, including the ability to confidently present to all levels of management.
