Here, you will help lead our industry forward and make your career.Job DescriptionTHE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEAs a leader on our executive visibility team, you play a critical role in developing and executing our strategy to deploy our top leaders to deliver on Fannie Mae's communications and corporate reputation goals.The Executive Visibility Director Role Will Be Responsible ForShaping and leading the execution of external communications for Fannie Mae's executive leadership team, including the Management Committee members and the CEO.Working closely with other communications leaders across External Communications to ensure executives are operating in support of corporate goals.Consulting with senior management to expand executive visibility in line with business strategy, objectives, and performance.Aligning and coordinating with other teams, including Marketing & Communications, business and functional executives and their support teams, and the office of the CEO.Building multichannel strategies to help executives reach desired audiences in the most effective manner.Working with others to prepare executives for public speaking (virtual, hybrid and in person), including preparing scripts, notes, and coaching.Serving as a lead writer in developing high-quality compelling written content for the execution of our executive visibility plans. This will include drafting and editing speeches, talking points, Q&As and a wide range of other written materials for senior executives.QualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required ExperiencesBachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's degree or equivalent preferredB2B and/or B2C experience with a large scale corporate preferredExperience leveraging cross-functional teams to best facilitate impact and strategy executionSupporting executive leadership end-to-end communications with multi-faceted teams and partnershipsSkillsAdvanced understanding of executive communications, plus journalistic, editorial, social media, and traditional media, and public relations.Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with experience in writing speeches, talking points, and presentations.Ability to tell a story while communicating complex information clearly and understandably to a wide range of different audiences.Strong leadership abilities, including directing and leading a team, providing coaching and feedback, and mentoring.Ability to manage and maintain dynamic stakeholder relationship and to effectively interact and influence senior management team members.Ability to set strategy and lead execution in a matrixed environmentLeadership and people management & development.Working with people with different functional cooperatively work toward a common goal.Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.Adept at working in tandem with broader marketing and communications teams to deliver strategic objectives.ToolsSkilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office WordExperience using SharePointAdditional InformationREF11688VThe future is what you make it to be.
