A$ A' "A' ?Our Client is a venture backed and founder led software start up that aims to provide transparency through data to the every complex globalized economy. The information they gather through their proprietary pipelines allow for complete pictures of customers, counterparties, and competitors! With the close of their Series C earlier this year, they are looking to grow their team with a key role: VP of Product Management. Joining this team would give you direct opportunity to have an impact of the future of the company, working closely with the CPO and VP of Engineering. You will have the overall ownership of their products roadmap as well as establishing a customer advisory board to collaborate cross functional with the company.Position Description:Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for managing a team of PM's as well as define the company's product roadmap and strategy to drive long-term product-led growth. Playing a key role contributing to Product Marketing's go-to-market strategy, helping them to understand product capabilities and points-of-differentiation for product positioning and key benefits, as they relate to target customer needs. Along with your product management team, you will serve as the internal and customer evangelist for the product line and work alongside Sales and Pre-Sales positioning its value to customers and analysts.Some key projects will include:Ensuring quality & on-target product requirements definition for product lineManaging all product roadmaps, ensuring alignment & utilization of development capacityLeading all company efforts to seek & receive market validation for product requirements, planned capabilities and roadmap sequencing utilizing established product operations processesWorking with the CPO to establish a customer advisory board, in collaboration with the company's Sales, Customer Success and Marketing functions, to provide strategic guidance & feedback on product portfolio directionEstablishing a "build vs. buy"A' portfolio decisioning process, in concert with the VP of Engineering, for allocating development resources alongside recommendations to work with external partnersEvaluating external technology partnerships, with the VP of Engineering & Head of Global Alliances, to modernize the company's product portfolio & accelerate delivery of its product roadmapsWhat You Will Do:With the CPO, and your team, co-author the company's product strategy & directionHave overall ownership for the product roadmap and prioritize features to support ongoing delivery, sales/marketing initiatives, and other client commitmentsLead the acquisition and translation of customer & industry requirements into concrete, realistic product feature setsEnsure all product managers author requirements documents that effectively communicate business requirement needs to Design, Data & Development teamsPartner with UX Design team to put the usability needs of our customers at the forefront of our product development processes & ensure a modern product experienceSupport project implementations and sales teams as a lead product expertDrive creative resolution of escalated project issues with optimal business outcomes across multiple internal and external stakeholdersAnalyze potential partner relationships for the product development and acceleration of roadmap capabilitiesMonitor and measure performance and revenue metrics across the existing ad product suite to inform product maintenance, iteration, and prioritizationWho you are:Must have:4-6+ years of dedicated Product Management experience, driving product vision and GTM strategies, creating product roadmaps & working with cross-functional teams2-4+ years experience leading product management teams within software companiesPrior product positions within cloud-based FinTech, RegTech, Graph Analytics or Investigative solutions software companiesPrior experience in early-stage, growth-oriented SaaS companies at post-series A, B or CFamiliarity with open source and third-party data solutionsDirect "hands-on"A' experience with Product Management responsibilities, such as requirements definition, roadmap planning, release management, methods & frameworks for gathering customer, market & prospect feedback, etc.Ability to drive innovative products forward in a fast-paced environmentAbility to interpret data and trends, identify gaps, and recommend action plans to improve the overall productsEnd-to-end process for triaging/prioritizing feedback & translating into feature req'tsTight collaboration with Engineering leadership to scope/sequence product roadmapAbility to work successfully with clients and business partners directlyExcellent problem solving ability in high pressure situationsExcellent negotiation skills to resolve internal and external competing prioritiesSuperior written and oral communication skills, coupled with technical acumenStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesKnowledge of enterprise software trends and technologiesAbility to travel to customer and non-customer sites globally (25%)Highly DesiredProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal "direct-line"A' authorityKnowledge of financial crime, RegTech/FinTech, compliance solutions and market trendsKnowledge of complex investigative processes in Financial Services, Government / Law Enforcement, Supplier/Supply Chain or Vendor Risk Management industry domainsExperience working within either the financial services or trade / supply chain industriesExperience working with partner ecosystems (ie, SIs, referral, reseller partners)Experience working with offshore development teamsPragmatic Institute coursework exposure and/or completionACAMS / ACFCS or similar professional certificationsGiven the location of our teams and our customers, candidates willing to work eastern hours are strongly preferred
