A$ A' "A' ?Baltimore Area Geotechnical Engineering Firm is currently seeking a Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer to work in our Glen Burnie, MD office. MS in Geotechnical engineering with 1-10 years of experience and your EIT certification. Position requires familiarity with the following areas:Subsurface investigations including test borings, cone penetration testing, and test pits, reviewing exploration logs, lab results, and plans.Analysis of bearing capacity, settlement, earth pressures, pavement section design, and slope stability.Analysis, recommendations and design of deep foundations and ground improvement for structural support.Analysis and design of temporary and permanent earth retention systems.Laboratory testing knowledge.Preparation of geotechnical reports.Position Requirements:1-10 years of experience in Geotechnical EngineeringMS Degree in geotechnical engineeringEIT - Excellent written and verbal skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Word and ExcelCADD/Microstation experience preferredFamiliarity with geotechnical software (ie, SlopeW, AllPile, Gint, MSEW, etc.)Willingness to perform laboratory testingStrong professional work ethic and desire to perform at a high levelAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAttention to detail and well-organizedWe offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:Competitive salary and paid time offMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceLife and Disability Insurance401(k) with company matchEOE Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
