We help to provide cost-effective solutions to the climate crisis while creating jobs, spurring investment in the American economy, and driving high-tech innovation across the US General Position Summary: The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the promotion of and communications about the ACP hosted and sponsored conferences, membership, publications, and exhibition and sponsorship offerings. Additionally, the coordinator will support cross-departmental efforts to complete website updates, draft collateral, and other marketing-related initiatives. This position is hybird and is required to come into the office 2 to 3 days a week. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: Draft, edit and schedule emails for marketing campaigns, including communications related to events and webinarsDraft membership communications and work across departments compile and draft internal-facing newslettersWork in collaboration with the member relations team to draft collateral, including exhibition, sponsorship and membership formsSupport the Event Marketing Manager in staffing and maintaining the ACP storeSupport the management of the ACP events app and update the exhibition floor plansShip events materials to ACP-hosted events and ACP-sponsored events, and tracking and storing the events inventoryWork in collaboration with the education team to create speaker slides and signage for events and webinarsMaintain and update ACP communications and events calendarsSupport the updating and maintenance of the ACP websiteDraft and schedule social media content, including real-time social media management while onsite at eventsCreate and analyze post-event surveys, in collaboration with supervisors and the events and membership teams, to ensure actionable, appropriate feedback is gathered to improve for future eventsWork with ACP graphic designer to create and update branded staff materials such as email signatures, PowerPoint slides and video call backgroundsAssist in on-boarding of new marketing and communications interns, providing historical context where appropriate, as well as training on marketing tools and platforms usedPerform other duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college/university; andA minimum of 2 years of marketing experience in tradeshows, advertising, sponsorships and/or Association marketing preferred.Knowledge, skills and abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized.Familiarity with social media design/content best practices.Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premier Pro is preferred.Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with a broad range of association staff.Passion for renewable energy a must!Job Conditions: ACP is a fast-paced, high-energy organization with an ambitious agenda and highly motivated staff.
