A$ A' "A' ?The Release Train Engineer (RTE) has the primary purpose of supporting and coaching an Agile Release Train (ART) navigating the complexity of delivering software in large, cross-functional environments through a combination of critical thinking, software solution delivery experience and technical expertise. The RTE helps resolve issues by trouble shooting with technical leads and development teams on optimal solution options to resolutions, escalate impediments, manages risk, helps assure prioritized value delivery, and drives ART level continuous improvement. The RTE is accountable for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of value through the ART.Responsibilities Manage project teams acting as consultant/coach and escalation point of contact in solutioning and resolving complex challenges and issues Connective tissue between product, technology, and architecture to ensure the systems and solutions being developed are aligned to best practices and standards as well as the broader organizational strategy Manage program level coordination, such as creating timelines, milestones, and cadence of increments and releases, and oversee the development of reports and analyses that document program activity Participate with management and cross-functional teams as subject matter expert to be an advocate in adopting Agile and SAFe best practices and processes Work with the Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO) and provide recommendations for continuous improvement to processes, policies, procedures, etc. related to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and to facilitate the working relationship between Global Technology and its business functions/partners Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets Lead preparation and execution of PI release planning for the Agile Release Team (ART) which includes: Collaborate with the Product and other teams to prioritize the features for the next program increment (PI) planning cycle Facilitate the ART's refinement of features to be considered in the next PI planning cycle based on business value and objectives Provide a readout to management both during PI planning on the ART commitments and on a bi-weekly basis on the progress of those commitments Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments Drive continuous improvement of delivery utilizing feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunityCandidate Profile 8-10 years' experience with a demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes including a previous role in one of the following areas: Technical Product Manager, Business Analyst, Engineering Manager or Solution Architect 3-5 years managing teams responsible for delivering complex technology programs A strong, strategic, critical thinker with a solution mindset coupled with an expertise in scaled agile delivery Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed environment and influencing key stakeholders Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written, verbal, presentation), strong documentation skills, ability to communicate technical concepts Strong organizational and planning skills and experience in establishing process and procedure, analyzing, and developing process improvements Experience with Software Development tools, techniques, and methodologiesWhy Join Teladoc Health?A New Category in Healthcare: ?Teladoc Health is transforming the healthcare experience and empowering people everywhere to live healthier lives. ?Our Work Truly Matters: Recognized as the world leader in whole-person virtual care, Teladoc Health uses proprietary health signals and personalized interactions to drive better health outcomes across the full continuum of care, at every stage in a person's health journey. ?Make an Impact: In more than 175 countries and ranked Best in KLAS for Virtual Care Platforms in 2020, Teladoc Health leverages more than a decade of expertise and data-driven insights to meet the growing virtual care needs of consumers and healthcare professionals. ?Focus on PEOPLE:? Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
