Our Unified Clinical Platform team is looking for an exceptionally hands-on Senior Manager of Software Engineering to help lead Clinical Platform foundation development to enable continuous integration and deployment. You will build innovative capabilities with our collaborative, cross-functional teams, drive code quality and foster cross-team collaboration. As the #1 Telemedicine provider in the world, your work will be seen and used by millions of people each year.ResponsibilitiesDrive and facilitate technical architecture decision-makingTake ownership and drive teams to deliver quality products on time following Agile lean software development process.Proactively seek partnerships and collaborate with multi-functional product development teams to define software strategy, product roadmap and technology roadmap.Build high scalable, performing and secure platform and deliver capabilities that delight customers while managing the health of the code base through continuous refactoring and management of technical debtBe an advocate for good technical process, and be a leader in shaping "just the right amount"A' of process for the team at any given timeBuild and nurture a culture in software organization of quality, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and data driven decision makingPrioritize great user experiences and be a partner to product management/engineering, sales, operations, and other parts of the businessBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree or higher 9+ years of combined software development and management experience6+ years of hands-on software development with languages such as Java3+ years of managing software organizations Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development processHave a demonstrated track record of building high scalable, performing and secure platformsHave great technical savvy and intuition and coach your team to make good technical decisions while not allowing perfect to get in the way of goodPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated track record leading geographically dispersed teamsTrack record of finding and developing great talentExemplary and effective mentoring skillsA demonstrated track record of being a change agent, leaving every team and process better than you found itSaaS or Cloud experienceHIPAA/HITRUST/Sarbannes-Oxley experienceThe base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $185, addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU's, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
