A$ A' "A' ?The Project Engineer is responsible for all routine on-site project administration, scheduling, and engineering. Plans, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering activities and schedules and communicates with subcontractors. Prepares monthly pay estimates and updates the Project CPM schedule. Prepares, coordinates and updates job budgets, change orders and cost reports for Project and District Manager's review and approval.Responsibilities:Including but not limited to:Assists with planning of self-performed work as well as monitoring subcontractor work and schedule.Review pay subcontractor pay estimates prior to management's approvalReview the owner's pay estimate prior to management's approvalManagement of Field Engineers, InternsSupervise project CPM management and lead regular review meetingsManage project document control systemIdentify issues early and work to develop solutionsPrepare all required information for presentation at project reviewsQualifications:BS in Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementMust have prior Heavy/Highway experience on projects over $20 Million, site work development, must be horizontal constructionMinimum 5 years of engineering experience in heavy/highway constructionFamiliar with grading, drainage, paving (asphalt and concrete), bridge construction, retaining walls, and all other highway construction scopesStrong working knowledge of Excel and WordExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
