Associate Director of Leading to Well-Being Programs The George Mason University Division of University Life invites applications for an Associate Director of Leading to Well-Being Programs. As an interdisciplinary center at George Mason University, we are dedicated to helping individuals and organizations thrive in a world of complexity and uncertainty. CWB offerings include programs and resources for students, faculty, and staff, along with executive education programs for organizations, agencies, and individuals.About the Position:The primary purpose of this position is to manage the center's executive and professional education programs under the brand of Leading to Well-Being Programs. The position primarily interfaces with external audiences from diverse industries, and collaborates with university stakeholder units and departments. This position reports to the center's Executive Director/Chief Well-Being Officer.Responsibilities:Manage the center's executive and continuing education programs.Coordinate the design and delivery of CWB's leadership development and well-being programs for open-enrollment and customized programs;Develop course budgets and schedule courses;Work with faculty on preparing curriculum materials;Provide instructors with training on relevant technologies and online course delivery platforms using Mason Information Technology Services and the Stearns Center for Teaching and Learning;Manage course materials on Mason's Learning Management System (Blackboard) for the center's executive education programs; andCreate reports related to program impact and engagement.Manage instructor recruitment and vendor contracts for the center's executive education programs through the Purchasing Office and the Continuing and Professional Education Office.Develop and manage executive and continuing education program budgets in consultation with the Continuing and Professional Education Office; andCoordinate proposal development for securing external contracts for the center's executive education programs, and collaborate with Mason units on joint proposal submissions.Coordinate marketing events with the Continuing and Professional Education Office and the center's communications and web manager.Serve as the liaison to the International Coach Federation regional chapter and to the Mason Coaching Alumni Chapter;Cultivate relationships with current and prospective industry clients;Contribute articles and other resources that promote the science and application of well-being and leadership development;Maintain updated executive education program information on websites and social media; andManage the center's Leading to Well-Being Speaker series.Provide subject matter expertise and consultation on the science and application of well-being and leadership development to university units/departments.Serve as a resource to students, faculty, and staff to further Mason's impact on its strategic goal of becoming a model well-being university; andProvide instruction in the center's executive education programs.Required Qualifications:Master's degree required, preferably in higher education, student affairs, health education, counseling, psychology, or related fields, or equivalent experience;Ability to organize and manage multiple programs and projects with attention to detail;Ability to set clear direction and priorities for the center's executive education programs;Ability to think critically and solve problems;Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills to create and sustain quality relationships within the center and with external stakeholders; andAbility to work independently and collaboratively in teams.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated progressive career and professional experience (typically obtained in 5 years) in program development and management;Experience with various social media applications (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) for use in disseminating information to professional audiences;Ability to communicate with and manage diverse groups and individuals;Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion;Knowledge of the science of well-being and evidence-based practices;Established track record of interpreting and applying institutional policies and procedures from one context to another while maintaining adherence to appropriate standards;Ability to be flexible and nimble in navigating complex workplace environments; andProficient in various software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.).
