You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to create the most innovative and relevant digital healthcare platform on the market. Come be empowered, ask big questions, think outside the box and truly make a difference.ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with stakeholders to support Benefits Administration engineering needs in marketing support, client portals, broker services, APIs, reporting, dashboards, billing (claims & invoicing), eligibility, client configuration, and administration interfacesProviding leadership and growth for a team of software engineers, guiding them toward successful and timely completion of projectsWork closely with product manager and related teams to define product scope and deadlines using an agile, continuous planning process?Managing project deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and allocating resourcesCreating and managing team KPI's, dashboards, and metrics for successCultivating a productive, strong, and happy culture within the departmentProviding updates, recommendations, and advocacy to leadership on behalf of the departmentIdentifying opportunities for new projects and processes, then planning, collaborating, and successfully implementingAct as the backstop on technical direction as neededTake responsibility for hiring new engineers as neededCollaborating with Product, Design, Data, Operations, and Customer-facing teams to optimize technology and efficiency in product development, operations and infrastructureDeveloping new initiatives and continuously streamline the engineering and software development processesCandidate ProfileExperience with end to end healthcare claims processing and billing3+ years' management experience5+ years' experience in software development with Java or .NETA people- and mission-oriented management style, in an Agile team environmentDeep experience with feature development and scalable frontend developmentCoaching experience, with the ability to recognize and utilize unique strengths in teammatesA passion for building rapport, solving problems, and leading decisions in a cross-functional environmentA drive to meet deadlines and achieve or exceed goalsAdaptability, creativity, and sharp focus on achieving goals in an ever-changing environmentOutstanding project management and organizational skillsPassion, collaboration, and productivity in a cross-functional team environmentStrong communication skills, for delivering recommendations and updates to upper management, with the ability to communicate succinctly, effectively explaining technical concepts to non-technical personnelAdaptability in changing work environments, managing new priorities, new instructions, delays, or unexpected events?Technical hands on; proficiency in coding; providing code review; best practicesFamiliarity with ETL PipelinesThe base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $185,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU's, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
