Job Type : Full time Job Description: 205808Job Title: Control system EngineerA cents € cents Act as the interface between all disciplines of design / support engineering and software engineers to define required functionality of vehicle systems using Model Based Systems Engineering principles and approaches. a. Work directly with all disciplines of design engineering to understand desired vehicle functionality and subsequently transform the requests into functional software specifications. b. Work directly with software suppliers / engineers, communicating functional system requests via detailed documentation that follows functional operational guidelines across all products. A cents € cents Ensure design compliance to various regulations and standards across multiple regions and markets. A cents € cents Participate in validation / regression test of software developed using bench test fixtures, automated test equipment such as Hardware in Loop, and vehicles to assure design intent. A cents € cents Utilize strong understanding of software languages and tools to interrogate source code when needed. A cents € cents Utilize strong design and troubleshooting knowledge of heavy-duty off-highway vehicle type control and electrical systems utilizing multiple controllers and CAN bus communication networks. A cents € cents Exposure to powertrain, electrical, and hydraulic systems. A cents € cents Exposure to Human-Machine Interfaces. A cents € cents Previous experience with off-highway or automotive type vehicles. A cents € cents Working knowledge of CANbus and related standards for vehicle communications, such as SAE J1939. A cents € cents Working knowledge of model-based engineering tools such as Matlab / Simulink. A cents € cents Strong verbal and written communication skills. A cents € cents Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A cents € cents Strong process-oriented discipline.
