In this role you will play an integral part of a team developing software used to support rapid response and deployment of next generation solutions for SIGINT/Geolocation systems used worldwide. CACI's National Solutions programs thrive in a culture of agile innovation while solving highly complex problems which consistently rise to the highest level of production. *More About the Role* Candidates should have the following skills and experience: Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements Design and coding experience with new software or modifying existing software to add new features Perform debug processes for existing software and correct defects Experience in describing various signal processing techniques Demonstrated ability to Identify various digital modulation techniques Experience writing software using C++ and JAVA Solid functional understanding of the LINUX operating system Conduct existing software integration into new, modified systems or operating environments Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards Experience in developing and implementing algorithms to meet system performance and functional standards Knowledge of developing and executing test procedures for software components Develop software solutions; confer with users or system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas Background serving as a team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project Perform existing software modifications to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance Background with designing, developing and modifying software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design; write software in C++, JAVA Experience using signal processing algorithms to convert a signal Have executed designing signal processing software based on sparse documentation Background in Identifying the source of problems in an RF processing system. *You ll Bring These Qualifications* Twenty (20) years of experience as a SSWE or equivalent experience on project with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF) to include experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools (eg WVT, DVT), and digital signal processing (eg Adaptive beamforming/filtering, demodulation). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SSWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree *These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have* Software defined radio architectures (eg SCA, REDHAWK, or GNU), commercial wireless standards, geolocation techniques, software configuration management tools (eg GIT, Clearquest, Trac, or subversion), Python, Eclipse IDE, Goggle Protocol Buffer, model-based design (eg MATLAB, SIMULAINK), service oriented architecture and LINUX OS.
