In this role, you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You will care for patients requiring fetal assessment/fetal monitoring On our team, you will be responsible for managing the patient s pain including epidurals and patient controlled analgesia You will encourage Family Centered Care On our team, you will guide and be a resource for new employees You will have expert knowledge for supporting mothers who breastfeed Instructing and educating patients and families is a daily responsibility Requirements Must hold a current license from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia ADN degree (BSN preferred) BLS certification At least one year of L&D experience Knowledge of antepartum and intrapartum nursing along with postpartum couplet care This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
