Description: Cloudburst is seeking a full-time Strategic Engagement and Events Coordinator for the US Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) Technical Assistance Collective. This position will support planning, implementing, and coordinating a variety of OVC's training and technical assistance (TTA) tasks. This includes logistical and tactical support for online and in person meetings and events working closely with OVC staff and staff from other organizations (ie, TTA Providers, grantees, and other government agencies). This position requires prior experience in the victim services field as well as on prior national scope training or technical assistance activities. The position is full time and contingent upon contract award. Salary Range: $60,000 to $85,000Location: 100% on-site, Office for Victims of Crime (remote work may be allowable in certain circumstances including cases of unforeseen conditions or contingencies Requirements: There are no substitutions for any of the following qualifications:Five years of experience in event planning for Federal government agencies, including event preparation, event registration, responding to general inquiries, providing logistical support, site selection, onsite meeting support, and compilation and basic analysis of evaluation forms/reports.Five years of experience directly relevant work in the victim services field.Ten years of experience working on national scope TTA projects.Experience working seamlessly with other Contractors or vendors.The mission of the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is to enhance the Nation's capacity to assist crime victims and to provide leadership in changing attitudes, policies, and practices to promote justice and healing for all victims of crime. Through training and technical assistance (TTA), OVC works to enhance the field's services to victims by providing timely, expert, coordinated, and data-driven responses. OVC uses TTA to develop, enhance, and sustain quality services to crime victims through the delivery of TTA that addresses current and emerging issues in the victim services field. This is done through a variety of targeted TTA efforts aligned with specific grant programs or initiatives; targeted TTA projects such as the OVC Center for VOCA Administrators, the Tribal Financial Management Center, and the Human Trafficking Capacity Building Center; and through training and technical assistance offered through OVC's Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC). OVC supports these efforts through a combination of contracts and cooperative agreements.The Strategic Engagement Coordinator is considered key personnel and is 100% dedicated to the contract and will work onsite at OVC.
