The Senior SharePoint Developer will work within an enterprise program team supporting a military community. If you are a self-starter and enjoy autonomy, this position is for you! Looking for a well-rounded SP specialist capable of doing front and back-end work. Responsibilities include but not limited to: 1. Gather requirements and analyze existing SharePoint environment 2. Identify functional gaps and deltas 3. Analyze any unused features/sites in existing environment 4. Create list of customizations and settings that need manual move 5. Group sites by complexity and functionality 6. Prepare functional requirement specification 7. Develop strategy for migrating SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016 8. Prepare architectural topology diagrams 9. Design fault tolerant SharePoint environment 10. Support and manage the SharePoint environment to include 11. Upgrade from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016 12. Migrate data from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016 13. Install and configure custom SharePoint applications using manufacture provided documentation 14. Create customized pages and Web Parts, design forms, build workflows and page views, write code to enhance usability of the platform 15. Configure search scopes 16. Document library and list setup and customization 17. Perform other duties within scope as assigned 18. Validate IA measures and create test scripts 19. Proof of concept for migration 20. QA Testing 21. Make recommendations for performance and design improvements 22. Train business stakeholders 23. Deploy engineered solutions 24. Training for IT support staff 1. Bachelor degree with 7-9 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience 2. At least 3 years hands-on SharePoint Development experience creating SharePoint features and solutions including web parts, master pages, custom page layouts, content types, workflows, and site templates 3. Experience with design, development and deployment of enterprise level portals and collaboration solutions on SharePoint 2010/2013 platforms preferably using JavaScript, ASP.NET, power shell scripting, XML/XSLT, HTML5, CSS3 4. 3 years of experience supporting/administering SharePoint on premise and/or Online 5. 3 years of experience supporting/administering MS SQL Server 6. 5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server and MS Office 7. 5 years of experience HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.Net 8. Must be able to gather and translate user requirements to technical solutions and implement those requirements 9. Maintain DoD 8570.1-M compliance for IAT Level II with a computing environment certificate focus on Windows technology or VMware technology 10. Valid US Drivers license Security clearance requirements: 1. US Citizenship required 2. Top Secret clearance required
