Vectrus seeks a results-driven individual with Python development and software testing experience in support of web application development and native Linux software development in an Agile Software Development environment. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of automated test cases. You should possess the ability to analyze issues and document and report test results. In addition, you will assist with the management and improvements to the automated build processes and work with the development team to assist in managing networking administration responsibilities. A strong understanding of Python programming and software automation is highly desired. Vectrus offers a very competitive salary, vacation, and benefits package. Active DoD SECRET level clearance required. *Responsibilities* * Design and develop automated test cases based on requirements. * Analyzing and documenting test results. * Preparing reports on all aspects related to software testing carried out. * Assist with the administration and management of digital pipelines (CI / CD pipelines). * Configuration of DevOps environment, such as work tracking tool and source control management. * Integration of other DevOps tools to support the software development process. * Research and integration of new tools. * Participating in project meetings including Agile/Scrum grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups. * Collaborate within an agile software development process with software engineers, subject matter experts and stakeholders. *Qualifications* *Education and Experience:* 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred 2+ years Python development experience preferred 2+ years Software test experience preferred *Experience in some or all of the following is desired:* Agile software development Python Software testing Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL) PostgreSQL or SQL and Database Operations Azure DevOps Docker Bash/Batch/PowerShell scripting Code Coverage Tools Visual Studio Typescript, C#, C++ *Skills: * Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment *Clearance Requirement:* Active DoD SECRET level clearance required. *Additional information (applicable to full-time hire only)* *Benefits* Medical, Dental Vision, 401(k) Life AD&D Short Term Disability Long Term Disability Other ancillary plans *Time Off* Paid Time Off (PTO) Holidays Bereavement Jury Duty *We are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individual.
