SENIOR RESEARCH ENGINEER

Senior Research Engineer: Kryptowire LLC, McLean, VA. Duties: Research & dvlp a large-scale wireless testbed/framework for orchestration of spectrum focused experiments in a Linux envrmt. Dvlp Software Defined Radio (SDR) applics, incl necessary low-level modification of the driver (USRP Hardware Driver - UHD) to employ Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) radio devices for over-the-air spectrum rltd experimentation on a testbed. Build containerized LXC & Docker-based SDR application to facilitate deployment on the testbed. Dvlp application layer capabilities in C/C++ &/or MATLAB to implmt Digital Signal Processing (DSP) blocks needed to run LTE & 5G functionality on the SDR devices. Reqmts: Ph.D. in Electrical & Comp. Engg, Comp. Sci or rltd techn'l field (or foreign equiv), specializing in Digital Signal Processing, SDR/USRP prgmg, C/C++, MATLAB, Python, LXC, & Docker. Intermittent travel to client sites & conferences req'd to various unanticipated locs. throughout the USA.
