Duties

-Serves as a receptionist in greeting visitors, members, answering phone, providing information, and referring visitors to appropriate
personnel or office
-Types a wide assortment of correspondence as requested or as needed by supervisor, to include contracts
- Receives and routes incoming mail and maintains necessary suspense controls
- Maintains files and other reference material IAW established procedures
- Performs and maintains inventories of supplies and equipment and orders office materials
- Compiles necessary data and submits to supervisor for review and final action
- Makes service calls to CE for emergency repairs and submits necessary paperwork for routine maintenance, and completes
paperwork for Form 332, as instructed by supervisor.
- Maintains bulletin boards dealing with employees, safety, health issues and general information
- Schedules and updates Cater Ease program, prints reports, completes monthly close out reports and forwards to correct office in a
timely fashion.
- Makes reservations/booking for special functions for all types of functions. Distributes information to all appropriate areas of
changes made to functions
- Substitutes as cashier when needed
- Assists in the maintenance and input of data into the Time Management System (TMX)
- Prepares appropriate forms for personnel actions
- Performs other related duties as assigned

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:

Must have responsible experience in clerical or office work which has provided knowledge of office automation software,
correspondence, formats, grammar, and spelling. Experience must have provided the ability to arrange and compose material, and
maintain organized files. Must show progressively responsible experience in clerical duties in the receipt, disbursement,
examination, deposit, custody, or other processing of cash items which may include (1) direct handling of cash items and, (2) use of
cash accountability control methods. Knowledge of varied and/or advanced functions of computer and automated systems to produce
a wide range of documents. Must have a basic understanding of reservation requirements. Must be able to read, write and speak
English. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is
required.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
