Must have an excellent project management and trouble shooting skills in order to manage the DFS employee intranet. Under supervision of the DFS IT Business Manager, works within a customized SharePoint platform to improve navigation, customize and manage lists and document libraries, create team and project sites using web parts, assign and manage permissions, create forms (many using Nintex), train coworkers to use SharePoint tools, analyze usage and create reports. Provides application administration duties such as password resents, onboarding and offboarding of staff and assists with computer equipment inventory. Serves as a business systems administrator and manage user access such as passwords resets, onboarding and offboarding, and assists with computer equipment inventory and deployment. Serves as an important member of the DFS IT team.

  • Some knowledge of programming language such as VB Script, HTML, Java, Javascript;
  • Some knowledge of current software such as Windows NT, Microsoft internet products, ASP, web browsers, and graphic imaging tools;
  • Some knowledge of TCP/IP and network routing protocols;
  • Ability to design and develop web pages;
  • Ability to develop and implement new and innovative methods, techniques, and procedures related to internet/intranet;
  • Ability to write comprehensible user system documentation;
  • Ability to communicate with users and translate technical matters into understandable terms;
  • Ability to assist users in solving operational problems related to internet/intranet;
  • Ability to train and provide support to internet/intranet users.


Employment Standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the following:

Completion of an associate degree with course work in computer science or graphic arts; plus Internet/intranet experience that is demonstrated by the completion of at least one project using platforms and technologies listed in the preferred qualifications section of the job announcement, or one year of ongoing Internet/intranet development or support tasks. An industry recognized certification can be substituted for some of the experience that is required.

None.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to the position must satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and a Child Protective Services check.

All newly hired employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two weeks after the last required dose) as a condition of employment or obtain approval of a medical or religious exemption prior to their start date. Proof of an exemption or vaccination status will be required during the pre-employment onboarding process. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills. Ability to input, access, and retrieve information from a computer. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
