Our employees say the comp & benefits are great, but it's the technical work we do that challenges us to keep on serving for the greater good!NOTE: Relocation assistance available (work site options: Dayton, OH / Fairfax, VA / Aurora, CO)More about your role:You should have a strong DSP background with proven capabilities against a wide range of wireless protocols, experience performing cutting-edge research and development on real-time Software Defined Radio (SDR) and protocol processing systems, and an extensive software development background.What You'll get to do:Analyzing, classifying, processing and geolocating signals of interestImplementing real-time signal processing algorithms on Linux-based SDR platformsRapid prototyping in a Linux development environmentTroubleshooting system performance both on-site and in the fieldWorking in a team environment to include government and military personnel, analysts, and software developersAnalyzing and documenting customer requirementsBring these Qualifications:Experience developing engineering solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signalsKnowledge of digital communications, including detection, estimation, and demodulationCapable of developing modeling techniques, producing proofs-of-concept, evolving prototype solutions, and delivering operational systemsC/C++ and Python developmentSystems development experience within the Intelligence and Defense communitiesFamiliarity with Code Management (eg Git)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsB.S. or higher (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related fieldSecurity clearance: Active Top SecretNice to have:Knowledge of SDRXMIDAS familiarityGeolocation theory and techniquesWorking in complex RF environmentsKnowledge of wireless air interface protocolsKnowledge of multi-threaded signal processing algorithms in Python/C++ on Linux hostsComfortable working in distributed team environmentsSecurity clearance: Active TS/SCI w/polyNASK s portfolio includes: DSP and Geolocation, Software Development and Automation, Analytic Toolsets and Services, SmallSAT integration, C2, Mission Planning, and Hardware for Acquisition, Playback, and Analysis.
