Experience & Requirements* Must hold either an LCADC, LGADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, Trainee Status.* Maintain state requirements for current licensure.* CPR certification.* Prior clinical experience working with substance abuse or related fields preferred; have familiarity with relevant research literature, clinical assessments, procedures and methods, particularly those designed for substance abuse; have ability to assess treatment, goals and write goal-directed, individualized treatment plans; have ability to monitor and document individual behavior patterns and modify treatment plans; and be familiar with diagnostic nomenclature outlined in the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual.* Correctional experience preferred.A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.YesCare is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. EOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.ResponsibilitiesBelow is a list of your responsibilities as a Methadone Counselor with YesCare at (Facility Name) located in (City, State):* Provide individual counseling to inmates battling substance abuse.* Maintain therapeutic contact with methadone patient during their time in the treatment program.* Maintain assigned caseload and provide case management for patients.* Maintain timely and appropriate patient charts.
