Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Business Analysis, Senior Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, SC location. As a member of the team, the successful candidate will provide systems analysis and support services for the overseas financial management systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis of complex business functions and requirements as it relates to the overseas financial management systems, operations and business needs
  • Evaluate system solution approaches and systems integration analysis. Read software design documents and advise management on whether the design meets the overseas business requirements
  • Participate in the user acceptance reviews (UAR) for all software releases and advise management of all known issues
  • Understand and document customers' business processes and practices and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specifically assigned areas
  • Provide advice concerning accounting standards and processes and has the expertise to perform analysis of interface issues, analysis of interface processes, and the resolution of accounting errors

Required Qualifications
  • Four-year degree in computer science, business or closely related area.
  • At least 3 years technical experience in systems development, requirements development, and/ or automated financial systems analysis
  • Must have the ability to clearly communicate technical as well as non-technical information, both orally and in writing
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with large scale financial accounting software/systems and reporting platforms
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing software

Education

BA/BS in computer science, business or closely related area.

Clearance
