Patent Prosecution Specialist

Sughrue Mion, PLLC, a leading, internationally recognized Intellectual Property law firm, located in Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced Patent Prosecution Specialist.  This position will prepare and e-file various types of new patent applications and supporting documents including; utility, design and US national stage in the USPTO.  

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience processing new patent applications; prior law firm experience preferred, knowledge of USPTO practice and procedures required; knowledge of EFS filings at the USPTO required.

This position is located in the Washington, DC office.  We are currently operating in a hybrid mode with in-office and telework options to candidates residing in DC, MD or VA.  Candidates residing out of DC, MD or VA may also be considered.
