Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining records to ensure they are accurate and up to date; 2) Using automated systems to perform administrative support functions (i.e. reviewing information for discrepancies, maintain databases, and preparing reports, briefings, and correspondence); and 3) Utilizing standard office equipment (i.e., scanners, copiers, fax machines, and office automation systems) to perform a substantial range of office automation support functions.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience

Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. Additionally, you may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent career-conditional or career appointment under specific conditions.

A 40 hour work week is typical for this position.

This position is being recruited at the full performance level.

Physical Demands:
The work is primarily sedentary with some carrying of computer reports, boxes and ledgers of moderate weight.

Work Environment:
The work is normally performed in a well-lighted, climate controlled office setting.
