Full Time

  • Issues and ensures correct, proper, and safe use of all fitness equipment.
  • Cleans and performs minor maintenance on equipment.
  • Answers member questions, conducts inventory, and maintains membership database.
  • Utilizes automated booking system to make various reservations and appointments.
  • Explains equipment usage to guests.


Conditions of Employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Must meet physical requirements of position such as walking on hard surfaces with some bending, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of items or carts up to and occasionally over 50 pounds.
  • Incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Must have or be able to obtain American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Must be able to work between the hours of 0430-2030 Monday to Friday and 0730-1400 Saturday/Sunday.


Must demonstrate the ability to offer excellent customer service and the ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to maintain tools and equipment. Ability to keep areas neat and clean and in order. Must demonstrate the ability to speak and understand English clearly.
