Delivering value communications to the 50+ is at the core of what DCRM does. Our Agile focus is always on delivery improvement with the goal to drive the most value to the market in the quickest, most efficient way. Our Delivery Leads are responsible for modelling change and transformational leadership for our development teams and internal stakeholders. Develop and maintain roadmaps and other artifacts for complicated technical programs. Work with marketing and operations managers to understand product roadmaps and provide insight to assist with release planning. F acilitate scrum teams to be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates rapid delivery (Agile or other) principles into team practices and work products, including coaching the team on reporting, backlog development, refinement, and prioritization, and facilitating team ceremonies.
  • Ensures team incorporates best practices and enterprise guidance around architecture, information security, agile delivery, quality engineering, governance, service management, and user adoption.
  • Drives creation of consistent, value-driven user stories and implementation of high-quality solutions while focusing on customer centricity.
  • Leverages delivery analysis and tools to evaluate, optimize, and continuously improve team output and delivery of business and technology outcomes.
  • Identifies risks and dependencies proactively, removes impediments, and spearheads team problem-solving to achieve resolution and/or escalate concerns as needed.
  • Manages the team's financial budget, software licensing for applicable tools, and third-party relationships.
  • Develops statements of work for third-party vendors or contractors that adhere to procurement standards and specifically includes operational requirements and outcome-based deliverables.
  • Works with other delivery leads through a community of interest to increase the effectiveness of agile delivery within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar ESP (email service provider).
  • SAFe certified Scrum Master, PO/PM certifications preferred.
  • Salesforce Email Specialist Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience and use of agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with agile tools like Jira/Greenhopper, Jira Align, Rally, Version One or equivalent.
  • Experience with budget responsibility, statements of work, and vendor management.
  • A demonstrated ability to work within a team and build consensus towards a technical direction.
  • Technology delivery experience from concept to design, development, implementation, and support.
  • Home office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate home environment noise.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)

AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
