Role Profile:The Director, Technology & Infrastructure Operations will be responsible for leading the ST Engineering North America, Inc. (STENA), enterprise-wide Infrastructure and cloud transformation for the STENA Business Units and ensuring company technology infrastructure and support services are optimized and aligned with organizational strategy and goals. Responsibilities include but not limited to;. Own and manage Ideation, Build and Run aspects of Infrastructure, Network, and IT SecOps across STENA Business Units.. Establish the Cloud Strategy and Roadmap. Improve system and services availability, technology optimization, and support services for employees, in alignment with enterprise strategic goals.. Lead and support functional leaders in maintaining, delivering, planning, and evaluating existing platforms, services, tools, and procedures, and the identification and evaluation of new capabilities.. Build strong partnerships with other IT leaders in STENA and across ST Engineering; driving a culture of continuous improvement and lead by example.. Create and manage the IT budget for areas within scope of responsibility, including capital and operating expenditures. Direct and support professional growth and development of direct report functional leaders and their teams.. Develop, implement, maintain, and consistently improve IT policies and standard operating procedures, including IT disaster recovery.. Participate in the IT Steering Committee to ensure the alignment of IT resources and activities with business priorities.. Establish and maintain a high-performance team of professional, motivated, and engaged staff utilizing effective training, performance management, and career-development activities while leading them to achieve established business results and performance metrics. Bachelor's degree in information systems management, computer science, engineering, or related field required; a combination of education and experience may also be considered. Advanced degree a plus.. Minimum ten (10+) years of progressive leadership experience supporting an enterprise technology environment required.. Experience designing and implementing Cloud Strategy. Experience implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure service platforms such as Azure and/or AWS required.. Experience with data center networks, WAN/SDWAN, wireless and remote secure network access platforms, firewalls required.. Experience managing IT Security Operations required.. Experience supporting multiple businesses required.. Data Center consolidation experience along with cloud migration experience is required.. Experience working in applicable regulatory requirements (eg, DoD, NIST, DFARS) a plus.. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that are aligned to business strategies and effectively govern and improve IT processes.. Knowledge related to Windows servers, virtual technologies; VOIP systems; disaster recovery planning; desktop computing, customer support protocols; information security and privacy; and technology integrations.. Strong knowledge of IT processes and best practices, including technology maintenance and monitoring; service-level agreements (SLAs); incident response, including security incidents; project portfolio management; disaster recovery planning and testing; CAPEX budgeting; application and equipment life cycles; and change management..
