Troubleshoots network performance issues. Design and buildout of automation platforms utilizing Infrastructure as Code methodologies2. Supporting all tiers of applications deployed in the cloud, configuring network, cloud native services, infrastructure, and privileges for development teams3. Identifying opportunities for optimizing cloud consumption by the agency and providing strategic direction for addressing those opportunities4. Collaborating with external development teams to validate solution architecture within agency cloud environment5. Supporting migration of on-premise workloads to cloud following agency governance and reference architectures6. Supporting strategic cloud initiatives, such as TIC 3.0, Zero Trust Architectures, and DevSecOps by providing architectural guidance and hands on implementation of approach7. Reviewing and approving change requests for cloud-based workloads8. Identifying and communicating opportunities for improving agency security posture within cloud environments9. Providing leadership to junior engineers to increase understanding of agency cloud environmentsPreferred skills and qualifications:1. Demonstrated understanding of cloud engineering methods, applications, and best practices across cloud service providers.2. Demonstrated proficiency in automating processes with GitHub, Ansible, AWS Cloudformation, Packer, PowerShell, or Python, including use of remote APIs3. Experience implementing, managing, and supporting security products to protect workloads in AWS4. Understanding of FedRAMP services and best practices for their consumption by application workloads - examples include API Gateway, Lambda functions, Cognito, AWS Code Commit, and container services5. Experience working with containers and container orchestration systems and hardening practices.6. Experience assessing, customizing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining current and emerging technologies, platforms, and applications to help ensure greater security and efficiencies.7. Experience with cloud orchestration tools and continuous delivery processes to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure for customers to consume8. AWS Solutions Architect ProfessionalMust Haves:- Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience as a subject matter expert in architecting complex networks- Must have experience with Cisco, F5s, Nexus switches, DHCP, DNS, VPN, MPLS, MTIPS, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), routing, switching, and Out-of-Band (OOB) networks, cloudinfrastructure, and firewall management.- Must be an expert in routing and switching- Must possess CCIE a certification.
