Essenital Job Duties:*Define how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data in some way. It is closely aligned with business architecture.*Provide a standard common business vocabulary, express strategic data requirements, outline high level integrated designs and align with enterprise strategy and related business architecture.*Set data architecture principles, create models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, create diagrams showing key data entities, and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision.*Organize data at the macro level, data models for a new application, logical data model as a standard for the golden source and for consuming applications to inherit and provide logical data model with elements and business rules.*Perform data engineering, resource management, and implementation support.*Demonstrate proven experience to operate independently and experience leading/guiding a team to architect, develop and implement data- driven applications.*Engage with internal teams to lead and develop data warehouse solutions, facilitate solutions design, and manage implementations.*Lead and architect to program initiatives that span across data services, data warehouse, operations data stores, big data repositories, master data management and BI implementations.*Design and develop specific solutions leveraging technologies and design practices that enable a scalable, extensible, and flexible data management and integration solutions.*Develop and provide presentations and demonstrations of solutions to both internal and external stakeholders as needed.*Extend and partner with internal/external resources to identify and contribute to continuous improvements of data solutions across multiple technologies and projects.*Lead, present, and defends technical solutions to the federal client and other contractors.*Develop working knowledge and expertise of federal client's technical requirements, guidelines, and processes.*Champion risk and issue management, and participates in mitigation and contingency actions to address the risks*Create and sustain an environment that motivates high performance, recognize and reward excellence of individuals and teams*Lead implementation of a data warehouse modernization.*Maintain vendor partnership levels and develop a strong vendor relationship with the technology counterparts*Remain aware of technology trends that may be incorporated as of the program's solution.*Provide technical solution support during proposal development process, to include technology stack selection, data/solution architecture, and implementation methodologyPosition is remote in Washington DC area only, and will periodically require being onsite at the Maximus McLean, Virginia office. Education and Experience Requirements:*Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required; Master's Degree preferred*At least twelve (12) years of experience architecting and managing enterprise Data Science solutions implementations with hands-on working experience across open-source technology frameworks and platforms (such as Cloud Native services in AWS).*At least twelve (12) to fifteen (15) years developing and architecting software solutions using database technologies (relational and non-relational) such as DB2, MySQL, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL.*At least seven (7) years' experience with technical management and leadership on Federal projects*Experience (2+ years) like Redshift, Athena, Glue, and/or Python.*Strong experience with data migration, which may include consolidation.*Demonstrate experience leading/guiding a team to architect, develop, implement, and maintain impactful next generation federal agency data management solutions.*Good understanding of Data Management principles as they pertain to an overall technical solution.*Proven experience communicating with non-technical team members and client.*Experience working with or leading legacy systems hosted in multiple on-premises environments*Experience and expertise in designing and supporting logical and physical data models, transactional databases, interoperability, legacy data warehouse technologies IBM Mainframe, and modern technology stacks such as Tableau and Cloud computing.*Professional implementation experience should include both project management and solution architecture tasks to include designing, implementing, and improving business processes.*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.*Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills to federal client, senior management, both internal and external including SMEs*Preferred skills: Experience and expertise with HHS technical development guidelines and processes; experience supporting systems in a FEDRamped environment; at least three (3) years of experience using Agile development methodology and working experience in a DevSecOps environment.Additional Requirements as per contract/client:Green Card Holder / US Citizens only
