We need this person to have a great attitude and have the ability to relate to candidates over the phone. Excellent phone skills are a MUST. You should also have the ability to relate to candidates who come from all over the world. We will provide on the job training for the right person for the first 3 months. We will consider fresh graduates ( BA or BS or Associate Degree). Ideal candidate will have good knowledge about information technology and be conversant or familiar with the basic technical jargon (like for example what is a relational database, what is Java and what is .Net and what does a business analyst or a project manager do, what are the different programming languages etc).Position comes with a base salary plus full benefits plus performance bonus. Base salary will depend upon your fit for the position and how much on the job training you need.Technical Staffing Specialist will work closely with the Account Managers and provide contract and full time IT staffing support to clients of PMG Global. PMG Global is a preferred provider of contract IT staffing resources to Fortune 500 companies like Fidelity Investments, Siemens, and Lockheed Martin to name a few. PMG Global is among the top 3 vendors for IT contract staffing to Fidelity Investments and receives a high volume of contract IT staffing requirements from them. The staffing requirements run the full gamut of information technology and our clients typically hire software developers (Java, .Net), project managers, architects, QA and Test engineers, system and database administrators, ERP developers (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft), CM/Release Engineers, websphere /weblogic administrators and the like. Upon the receipt of a contract IT staffing requirement from our client, the Account Manager will forward the requirement to you and it will be your responsibility to locate a matching candidate from our online resource databanks like Dice and Linkedin and send them to the undersigned. The candidate you submit must match all the technical skills in the requirement and possess necessary soft skills like integrity, attitude, aptitude and good oral and written communication. The candidate must also meet the compensation needs of each requirement. The candidate must be available to provide their services in the location mentioned in the job requirement and in addition provide their services for the duration of the project mentioned in the job specification. PMG Global provides contract IT staffing support to all locations of Fidelity Investments in the US. The contract IT staffing industry in the US is highly competitive and PMG Global is committed to providing a very high level of service to its Fortune 500 clients. It is therefore the responsibility of the Technical Staffing Specialist to verify the technical claims made by the candidate by screening them over the phone and/or in person with in depth technical Q&A type tests. Staffing Specialist will also, wherever possible, verify the education of the shortlisted candidate by calling on the education institutions mentioned in their resume.You will be responsible for submitting 1-2 matching resumes for each job requirement that you receive and you will make every effort to provide these matching resumes within the shortest possible turnaround time preferably within a 24-hour period of receiving a job requirement. This is imperative as PMG Global is competing for each job requirement with other contract IT vendors of our Fortune 500 clients like Fidelity Investments. The undersigned will further screen the candidates and then send them over to the client for an interview and possible placement. Once the client expresses an interest in a particular candidate the undersigned will communicate the same to the Staffing Specialist and it is the responsibility of the Staffing Specialist to take care of the logistics and ensure that the candidate is available for the interview on the date and time mentioned by the client. Staffing Specialist will take particular care in ensuring that there is no miscommunication with respect to the time as it relates to the different US time zones -EST, CST, MST and PST-with the candidate. After the conclusion of the interview the Staffing specialist will contact candidate to determine their performance on the interview and provide the necessary feedback to the undersigned. The undersigned will then work closely with the client to close the deal.PMG Global has signed up many new clients and expects to receive a very high volume of contract job requirements from its new and existing clients in 2023 and your performance will therefore be rated on the following metrics:- Provide a minimum of 2 matching resumes per day or 10 matching resumes for each week of your employment. To provide 2 matching resumes per day to the undersigned you will have to browse through an average of 20 resumes and phone screen about 5 candidates each hour on Dice for a total of about 40 candidate phone screens per day. You will meticulously document all the calls and phone screens on a spreadsheet and email a copy of the spreadsheet at the end of each day.- It is the goal of PMG Global to achieve a MINIMUM OF 1 contract placement per month (with each contract placement having a minimum spread or gross profit margin of $10/hour). PMG Global can only reach this goal if the Staffing Specialist provides matching resumes both in quality and quantity as specified above. Technical Staffing Specialist will work closely with the President in ensuring that this corporate goal is achieved.
