Mroads is looking for a "Technical Architect (GraphQL, ES6, React.js)" for one of its direct clients. This is a Fully Remote (we work in EST) contract role to start.Job Description: We are looking for a new member of the GraphQL platform team at one of the world's largest hotel companies. The platform team is responsible for building tools and functionality that other GraphQL developers will utilize in their daily work life. Our goal is to provide an elevated experience where engineers can fall into the pit of success and relieve them of some of the struggles that can come with big enterprise engineering.A successful engineer in this role will be able to communicate well. This is more than just HR banter, in this role, there will be a decent amount of inter-team communication, engineer collaboration, feature brainstorming, and pull request reviews. All of this requires exceptionally strong communication skills.The next skill that is highly valued for this role is Typescript/(ES6) JavaScript experience, and not the kind where you added jQuery to your Java app. A large amount of the dev work will be in typescript and communicating & understanding modern best practices will be a key driver to success.We will be working with automation and building pipelines. Understanding how applications get to deploy environments is useful. This is not a primary role but will come up in discussions and contributing to those discussions will be a valuable contribution to the team.A nice to have been knowledge about the RUST ecosystem. It's not part of the stack currently but will be in the near future.
