Energize your career with Constellation.PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONSupervise multi-craft workers in the operation, maintenance and repair of power generation equipment and controls. Provide direction, technical expertise and supervision to department associates and project teams. Responsibilities shall include plan and schedule control, risk analysis, cost control, safety assurance, repair and testing of generation equipment. Supervise contract labor and outside contractors to support outages, projects, or to supplement department work force. All activities must ensure safety, as well as environmental compliance, cost effective repairs and reliable and efficient unit operation in support of the Company's goals and objectives. Within their duties is the responsibility to adhere to the Company's business and ethical standards and assure compliance with all applicable government and industry regulations and practices. Responsible for daily supervision, monitoring and coaching of employees to ensure a productive workforce in compliance with company policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESSupervise, plan and safely direct the activities in the operations, maintenance, technical and environmental work of the department. Maintain effective communications with work teams and plant management.A' Manage and supervise associates and provide leadership by training, appraising, coaching, counseling, rewarding and developing associates.Manage resources and work within established budgets using plan, schedule and project control methods, and project development.Understand, support, communicate and administer company policies, practices and procedures to meet management's expectations of effective internal business controls.A' Assure all activities are planned and executed safely, efficiently, in accordance with procedures, codes, and regulations, with a high regard for customer satisfaction.Assume responsibility for safety and well being of employees by maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing established safety rules and regulations.A' Support the development and implementation of goals and objectives to meet Station and Fossil Generation mission.A' Perform all other duties as assigned.Salary Starting at $105,000JOB SCOPEPosition reports to Manager, MaintenanceProvides safe and efficient utilization of multi-craft workforce, equipment and materials to operate and maintain plant facilities and complete outages and projects at minimial costSupport high plant equipment availability for direct revenue generation through effective execution of predictative/preventative, outage, project and emergent maintenance programsResponsible for daily supervision, monitoring, coaching and appraising of up to 20 craft associates to ensure a productive workforce in compliance with company policies, procedures and collective bargaining agreementSupervise assigned project, outage, emergent or planned work mobilization, construction, cost, schedule, progress reporting, contractor/vendor performance, project closeout, labor relations, safety, quality, environmental compliance, startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover to OperationsFoster inter and intra departmental teamwork to meet Power's mission and objectivesSupports studies, root cause analysis (Corrective Action Program), and field evaluations on new and modified materials, tools, procedures and engineering practices to improve department performance and develop/share best practicesQualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBS in engineering or technical field and 6+ years professional experience ORAssociates Degree and 8+ years professional experience with 3+ years experience in field you will supervise ORH.S.
