Westat is seeking Field Room Clerks to join its team on a national education study. We are seeking energetic, self-motivated professionals, who are dependable, have good attention to detail, and are deadline driven. 
 
Job Responsibilities:
·      Prepare and mail out over 5,000 hire packets for our field staff.
·      Open incoming mail and distribute it accordingly.
·      Receipt hire forms in our system. 
·      Perform follow-up on missing and incomplete hire forms.
·      Answer phone calls as well as answer questions and/or transfer calls to the appropriate extension(s).
·      Filing.
·      Review electronic timesheets.
·      Process electronic expense forms.
·      Mail out evaluations at the end of the project.

Qualifications/Requirements:
·    Must be a citizen of the United States and will have to go through the e-QIP background clearance process to work on this study.
·    Must have excellent attendance at the on-site location in Gaithersburg, MD.
·    Ability to work within a team setting and be adaptable to changing conditions/task priorities.
·    Experience in data entry and quality control with web-based data management systems.
·    Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
·    Experience with Word and Excel.
·    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to in-house and field staff, both verbally and in writing.
·    Maintain a safe and secure working environment.
·    Display a professional demeanor and is responsive to technical and procedural feedback.
·    Comfortable speaking on the phone.
·    Great customer service/people skills.
·    Trustworthy and upbeat.

Training will be provided.
 
This is an on-site position in Gaithersburg, Maryland in an environment that allows for social distancing and provides sanitizing supplies for work areas. These assignments are temporary hourly positions. Benefits are based on hours worked and tenure.
