Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire an experienced Exercise Physiologist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Exercise Physiologist you will:
• Lead exercise sessions, and instruct patients in safe exercise procedures
• Supervise exercise therapy and monitor patients, rhythm interpretation, educate and counsel patients and family about risk factor modification, and assist in the collection of outcomes data
• Perform one on one behavioral counseling with cardiac rehab patients, develop and update exercise prescriptions/ITPs
• Assist in referral processing, scheduling, and ongoing patient communication for program enrollment
•Work with clients one to one in various stages of their wellness journey, including individuals who are seeking to improve/maintain their health as well as people who are recovering from serious illnesses and injuries
•Work in a collaborative setting with Physicians, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, and Athletic Trainers

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology and/or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred
• Possession of, or currently pursuing, ACSM certification (required)
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification required to obtain within first 90 days of hire
