The MIL Corporation seeks a System Administration, Analyst to support a Federal government client at one of our Washington, DC Metropolitan area locations.

  • Provide input to technical writer for status reports and technical documentation.
  • Install updates and patches to backup systems and platforms (such as CommVault) scheduled patch events.
  • Support and optimize backup solutions including disaster recovery policies and procedures.
  • Analyze, test, and support implementation solutions for complex hardware and software issues associated with backup related technologies, including NetBackup, CommVault, and Enterprise Vault.
  • Maintain backup and archiving platforms which consist of both disk-to-disk and disk-to tape solutions.
  • Administer and maintain backup policies and manage daily, weekly, and monthly backup of data on servers across various OS platforms including Windows, Linux, UNIX, HP, and virtual platforms.
  • Analyze, test, and support implementation solutions for continuous data availability, integrity and backup protection.
  • Review requests from customers via the Library's ticketing system. Incidents shall be resolved and in accordance with the OCIO Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Priority Matrix.

Required Qualifications

BA/BS or a combination of courses and related work experience and at least 3 years of related work experience

Desired Qualifications

3-5 Years industry related experience
