Duties

As a Website Administration Specialist, you will support and assist the Website Administrator by performing the following:
  • Providing technical guidance to OEAC and NCUA's offices in determining the most appropriate methods for delivering information via the internet to align internet services with NCUA business requirements;
  • Providing guidance in the design and development of new agency websites;
  • Providing guidance in the design and development of new agency websites;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving problems;
  • Posting website updates and content on the NCUA's public website;
  • Reviewing submitted content for compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973;
  • Posting website updates and content on the NCUA's public website; and functioning as team member within OEAC, interacting with directors and specialists to ensure that OEAC delivers a quality work product to its customers.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for the CU-11 grade level, you must meet one of the following:

Specialized Experience:
Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.

All applicants applying for the CU-11 level must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-09 level obtained in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience:
1. Participating in the development of websites;
2. Ensuring documents are complaint with Section 508 of the of the Rehabilitation Act; and
3. Responding to customer inquiries.

OR

Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. Transcripts must be submitted at the time of application .

OR

Combination of Education and Experience:
You may qualify on a combination of education and experience. The total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education more than the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education. Transcripts must be submitted at the time of application .

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed outside of the United States must be deemed equivalent to that gained in accredited U.S. education programs to be acceptable for federal employment. SALARY: Pay will be set within the advertised pay range to align with the selectee's skills and experience and the requirements of the position.

Pay will be set using NCUA's compensation policy. The salary range shown is NCUA's Local Pay Rate (LPR) which includes the locality rate for the Alexandria, Virginia geographical area. Please click here to review all salary ranges based on locality.
