Food Laboratory Technician
Title: Lab Technician Location: Hunt Valley, MD Schedule: M-F 8-5pm flexible Type: 6- 12 month contract to potential hire Start date: Immediate Responsibilities: Weigh raw materials accurately and timely Recording data Managing raw material inventory Setting up flavors or raw materials for evaluation Maintaining sanitation and organization of the lab Stocking, ordering, and maintaining lab supplies, and ordering raw materials from plants or suppliers. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years food industry or food service or lab experience. Previous compounding and weighing experience preferred. Ability to taste diverse foods and beverages including alcoholic and caffeinated beverages. Ability to work accurately with calculations, such as ratios, decimals, and percentages.
