Summary You are a solutions-driven consultant with extensive knowledge of learning and performance improvement technology products and services as well as knowledge of various platforms and technologies including LXP, LMS, LCMS, AR/VR and AI. As Global R&D Learning Technology Leader you will have global impact playing a key role in partnering to design the RDEx University with technology playing a key role in offering R&D associates "one place" where they can access their personalized Scientific and Technical learning plan. This role will be responsible for creating a proactive, agile, global university to build impactful Scientific and Technical learning experiences, creating, and fostering a learning culture to drive continuous improvement of R&D capabilities.Responsibilities ** Prior to applying, review the Education & Qualification section - Be sure you possess the Minimum years of experience and qualifications required.- Lead the strategy and vision of technology for learning platform and other technology for all RD associates, globally.- Lead the identification and validation of technologies through proof-of-concepts that you design.- Identify and manage required external partnerships to ensure cutting-edge capabilities in the intersection of AI, technology, and learning.- Champion an agile, iterative development process driven by design thinking, frequent end user input, and constant insight generation from data.- Use performance consulting, design thinking, ideation, business-centric, and creative problem solving.- Leverage adult learning theory and instructional design in both formal and informal learning environments, as well as the linkage between design and learning evaluation/assessment.- Incorporate a wide range of learning modalities into learning approaches (ie, live, virtual, digital, gamification, personalization, social).- Design for existing and evolving learning technologies including self-study, adaptive, simulations, mobile learning and tools, virtual classroom solutions, performance support, learning objects, etc., and the applicable development processes/timelines and appropriate uses of these technologies.- Demonstrate a clear understanding of business needs and communicating value driven learning propositions.- Link instructional design, evaluation, learning assessment, instructor preparation, and enablement technologies when recommending learning solutions. Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)- Bachelor's Degree required- Master's Degree preferred Experience Qualifications- 10 or More Years Minimum 10 years experience working in training/learning role required- Prior R&D Pharma Scientific and Technical L&D experience required.- Strategic thought leader with proven experience designing innovative Scientific and Technical learning technologies. preferred- Proven working experience in a leading position in the intersection of technology, learning and innovation preferably in a pharmaceutical environment. preferred- Extensive experience leading the implementation and adoption of learning technologies. preferred- Knowledge of learning platforms & experience delivering learning in multiple learning modalities such as workshop, virtual, e-learning, simulation, and gamification required. required- Proven track record to work in a matrixed global environment. required- Experience and expertise developing and implementing effective knowledge and skill assessments. preferred- Experience with global audiences providing innovative, world class content and learning programs. required- Experience with online learning technology (eg, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate or similar) and SCORM. required
