Sterling Medical Corporation has a full-time, civilian contracted opportunity for a US Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide early intervention services to the US military families stationed with the US Navy located in Bahrain. Clinic hours are Mondays to Fridays, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Current contract ends in July 2024, with possible contract renewal. Start date is pending security clearance, which can take 5-6 months. The US Government qualification requirements are: 1. Possess a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited university or professional school. 2. Successful completion of a psychologist intern program which has been approved by the APA at the time of completion. 3. Shall possess at least two consecutive years of direct experience during the past four years administering and assessing the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) exam in the diagnosis of Autism. 4. At least two years of general experience with pediatric clients and at least one year within the past five years specializing with the age group (0-3),this can include experience gained during practicum, internship or clinical fellowship year (CFY) as part of a degree program. 5. Possess and maintain a valid, US unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist. 6. Must have a Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association prior to start.
