DescriptionPerform a myriad of functions related to mortgage risk systems which require strong expertise in quantitative analysis to benchmark and forecast analysis to support origination pipeline management. Will support manager with in-depth analysis to formulate policy and validate information to maximize risk system performance.Key functions to include:* Collaborate with hedging, pricing and pooling teams to provide analytics to improve transparency and accuracy of all pipeline management reporting* Partner with Market Risk and Model Validation to improve documentation and performance metrics as it pertains to models, assumptions and exposure limits* Coordinate with risk partners to maintain appropriate controls and testing processes and to coordinate with internal and external partners on all reviews and audits* Work with business team on new opportunities and approaches to leverage existing model functionality for improved performance* Work closely with Business channels and Product Development on new initiatives and product opportunities* Coordinate with IT partners on improved system performance and more frequent system upgrades* Educate and mentor existing colleagues on all Capital markets related activitiesQualificationsPreferred:5+ years of experience within Capital Markets with a mortgage banking entity with quantitative disciplinesStrong understanding of mortgage products and processesExperience within QRM Risk Management System strongly preferredS trong technology skill set including proficiency with data analytics & automation tools such as Excel VBA and SQL.Hours and Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: 8am-5pmSome job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
