This is a great opportunity for someone with a construction project management/estimating background to get involved with a growing company. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, able to multi-task and be a problem- solver, show a strong attention to detail and organization, and - most importantly - believe in a team- oriented approach.*_PRIMARY FUNCTION: _*An Estimator developing estimates and bids for construction projects along with completing take-offs to gather information for bids. The duties include but not limited to reading plans and specifications, understanding, and navigating building codes. An estimator also reviews sites and gathers information for estimates for work on existing buildings along with designing solutions for customer's problems.*_Key Responsibilities are and not limited to: _*A' . Develop project budgets and plans for projects and calculating the total cost of the project.A' . Prepare bids and cost estimates that address every part/division of a project.A' . Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimate.A' . Manage of identifying the scope of work for each subcontractor.A' . Manage communication with Ritz Construction subcontractors and vendors to obtain bids.A' . Complete analysis of subcontractor quotes per the construction documents and the established scope of work.A' . Track historical data from past project for conceptual estimating.A' . Ensure accuracy of all cost estimates submitted by a contractor.A' . Generate a complete scope of general conditions as need for the scope of work for a project.A' . Provide estimation of labor, material and equipment needed for a project.A' . Re-figure cost estimates when necessary, for addendum and or changes.A' . Review Ritz Construction general conditions with upper management.*_Requirements: _*A' . Government Construction experience preferred.A' . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A' . Ability to multitask.A' . Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Project Management systems such as Foundation, CPM Scheduling.A' . Excellent planning and time management skills.A' . Excellent leadership abilities.A' . Organizational and attention to detailA' . Estimating RequiredA' . SchedulingA' . PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.A' . In-depth understanding of construction procedures, and material and project management principles.A' . Familiarity with quality standards, and health and safety requirements.A' . Hands on experience with complex data research activitiesA' . Good understanding of data analysis methods and KPIsA' . Good time-management skillsA' . Ability to multi-taskA' . Strong interpersonal and communication skillsA' . Critical-thinker and problem-solverA' .
