Our approach emphasizes equitable outcomes for populations that have faced systemic discrimination. We serve all people 50 plus and their families. Through vigorous legal advocacy and evidence-based solutions, and by building supportive community connections, we foster resilience, advance equity and restore hope.
The Network Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting critical components of the market expansion and growth of AARP Foundation's Property Tax-Aide program. The Network Engagement Manager will manage the onboarding process for new volunteer groups and program partners, execute the volunteer recruitment and engagement strategy, and identify new program partners that will utilize the Property Tax-Aide fintech tool and/or help grow Property Tax-Aide's client base. Property Tax-Aide is a free, volunteer-led program that helps eligible homeowners and renters in select states apply for property tax relief. Property Tax-Aide has served over 11,000 older adults in the last three years, and the program is positioning itself to operate in 14 states, including the District of Columbia by 2024. . The Network Engagement Manager will maintain the customer relationship management system, attend site meetings when necessary, and seek to identify opportunities to engage prospective partners and AARP State Offices.

Responsibilities
- Sets strategies, identifies opportunities, and develops and implements projects and programs to support the organization. Manages and/or leads staff and/or volunteers to obtain program goals. Supports development and management of program budgets. Monitors performance and recommends program changes.
- Plans, organizes, and implements assigned projects across a program or programs. Determines resources needed, tracks budgets, determines scope and execution, tracks progress towards milestones, establishes timelines, and evaluates progress. Ensures adherence to internal and external quality standards. Organizes project teams and leads internal and external team members and stakeholders to deliver on project goals. Establishes project communication plans and ensures internal/external stakeholders are informed regarding project processes and impact.
- Evaluates existing programs to identify improvements and to measure performance against programmatic goals and desired outcomes. Analyzes and tests current processes and systems to determine effectiveness and efficiency. Develops and implements solutions that are effective, efficient, and align with enterprise goals.
- Collects data, performs root cause analysis of issues or problems, and proposes solutions according to the current and future needs of the business. Uses data to identify program and process enhancements to achieve outcome measures. Evaluates and advises on existing programs to improve outcomes.
- Engages stakeholder and partners as necessary to communicate program intent, identify areas for collaboration, and improve programmatic outcomes. Develops communications related to priority programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial-minded problem solver and self-starter
- Minimum bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas: working in an organization or program supported by volunteers, developing program partnerships, account management, business development, managing program partnerships, managing the onboarding process for volunteer groups or program partners
- Experience developing and executing strategies for recruiting, engaging, and retaining volunteers and/or non-profit and for-profit partners used for implementing events and/or volunteer-based programs
- Experience working with diverse communities and assessing community needs
- Experience collaborating and building partnerships
- Experience delivering presentations
- Experience with Salesforce
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment
