Qualified applicants will perform a variety of services within ALD, such as cite-checking for accuracy, reviewing for proper use of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation , and proofreading and editing written products. Candidates will further support ALD's legal programs and initiatives, such as legal seminars, presentations, and web-based projects, as required. Strong cite-checking, Bluebooking, proofreading, editing, legal research (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, HeinOnline), and technological skills are required. Candidates must also demonstrate superior organization skills and attention to detail.RequirementsConditions of Employment

Although it is the Library's policy to afford the maximum pay benefit to employees when setting rates of pay, a new appointee who has had no previous Federal service will generally be paid the minimum step of the grade.
